What better way could there be to celebrate a love of fusing Latin rhythms into American music than by reinterpreting what
may be Carlos Santana’s most recognizable hit? Santana’s melody and the tune’s relaxed vibe are still present here, albeit with
greater complexity thanks to a ten piece band. James again takes to the bench for a song, making this a straight instrumental
jazz piece, whereas John Beasley appears utilizing a Hammond B3 organ, harkening the song back to the heyday of its maker.
